Kim Porter, the mother of three of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ children, passed away last week. Unfortunately, she was murdered in 2018 and it broke the hearts of her fans and those who love her. How Did Kim Porter Pass Away?

Kim Porter died on Nov. 15, 2018 at the age of 47 Overnight, the entertainment industry was shaken to the core and those who were close to the her mourned.

She was discovered unconscious at her home in Toluca Lake, Los Angeles. Porter was said to have been suffering from flu-like symptoms for weeks prior.

She was initially thought to have developed pneumonia. She died suddenly after her illness became worse, despite intensive medical treatment and supportive care

An investigation from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner would later uncover that Porter succumbed to lobar pneumonia, a severe form of the infection in which one or more lobes of the lungs become inflamed.

 His death is currently classed as natural causes with no crime committed. Pneumonia can actually be fatal when left untreated, particularly in the event that it affects people whose immune system is weakened.

 With Porter, it appears that the disease accelerated and led to respiratory distress her body could not fight off.

Her sudden passing brought out the realization of how dangerous pneumonia can be, as it is often dismissed as just a “bad flu” and left untreated.

Similar to the rest of public when Kim Porter passed away Hollywood and Music also grieved her as well since she was as beautiful, successful in a professional sense but most importantly warm with kindness and love for her family.
