the Highfield music festival as saying in a statement.
Images from the scene showed flames leaping up and smoke pouring out of two cars on the Ferris wheel.
The total destroyed is unknown and there has been no word on what caused the fire.

who was on stage when the fire started, used his Instagram story to express disbelief and sorrow at the news of a blaze he said. “Hoping everyone is OK”
When it could not escalate further with me in front: Totally the priority!!
“Appreciate you staying so calm and maybe saving it from getting worse”
“Some 18 people had been transferred to St Thomas”
with performances continuing an hour after the fire broke out and a giant Ferris wheel off-limits.
