Raye’s Powerful Performance
The global superstar RAYE releases new live concert album, Live At Montreux Jazz Festival, out today on Human Re Sources/The Orchard and available now on streaming platforms & as a limited edition 12” vinyl.
RAYE recently played an impressive set at the 58th annual Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland
so that she and the festival deemed it such a milestone, that her has decided to gift her fans with a digital and 12″ vinyl release of the special performances.
The artwork shows a picture of RAYE with her Swiss granddad who witnessed her perform for the first time, adding further significance to her debut in Montreux.
RAYE — who has won BRIT Awards with the performance — said of it:
Montreux Jazz Festival has been one of the biggest musical honors we were ever bestowed.
I am truly humbled and love the history of where we played all of the artists who have played this stage before us it is a festival that honours true musicianship.

Included on the album is her stunning and powerful version of the James Brown classic “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”, with an acoustic performance video guaranteed to take your breath away.
Additionally, RAYE has been working on original new material which will also feature in her Montreux Jazz set, and “Genesis” and “Mary Jane” (September 16th)— listen to both tracks below— plus the full concert will be shared on October 1st via YouTube.
In March, she shattered the record for the most BRIT nominations for any artist in one-year and became the first female to win Songwriter of the Year in its 44-year history, making history at Britain’s biggest night in music with six BRIT Awards wins—cementing her status as Britain’s breakout indie superstar. That has led to her thrilling fans with performances on the main stage of Coachella, Lollapalooza and Sensation element Saturday Night Live which instantly sent My 21st Century Blues to the US iTunes Top 10.
This year also saw she support Taylor Swift on her highly successful Eras Tour, feature on Beyoncé COWBOY CARTER album (‘RIIVERDANCE’), recognized as one of TIME Magazine Next Generation Leaders, nominated at the 2024 BET and MTV Video Music Awards, and standing to be awarded a prestigious SONA Warrior Award.
