Ricky Pearsall Shot:
On Saturday, Ricky Pearsall joined the San Francisco 49ers as a rookie wide receiver in 2024 after he was shot during an attempted robbery in San Francisco.
Pearsall was discovered injured at the scene, along with another male. They were hospitalized.
The encounter happened at Geary Street and Grant Avenue, according to a San Francisco Police department press release.
They also named Pearsall and said the suspect is in custody, with more information to come at a press briefing later Saturday. They didn’t offer any specifics on the former Florida Gators wide receiver’s injury.
A video was released of the emergency crew walking him from an ambulance. However, the veracity of the video cannot be independently verified by Times Now Digital.

Pearsall hails from Phoenix, Arizona. Green was a three-year college football player at Arizona State (2019–2021) before transferring to the University of Florida. In two seasons he had 1627 receiving yards and caught 98 passes with a total of nine touchdowns for the Florida Gators.
