BRONX, New York
NEW YORK — Six men were shot in the Bronx Wednesday and now police are trying to figure out who is responsible.
“Shot around 8:15 p.m. on East 190th Street and Morris Avenue”
NYPD officials said there were people underneath scaffolding at that area hanging out when two males on scooters, one with a helmet and the other without went through St. James Park
Two males parked the scooters in a park, walked up some stairs to where a group of men was sitting under scaffolding and fired nine times at them.
“Gunfire hit six males — five in their 20s and one male in his early thirties. The bullets had hit all victims in various parts of their bodies”
“The four males are expected to survive”
Two of the victims were met by police at the scene. Two other victims reportedly left the scene in a vehicle and were picked up by EMS, officials said.
The previous two victims entered hospitals independently, one in the Bronx and another in Queens.
The investigation is ongoing.
