Tom Cruise is getting ready to deliver one of his classic big stunts at the Paris Olympic Games closing day, and a path has been set for what could be in store when L. Angelos. hosts the Summer Olympics again four years after that

“A major Hollywood celeb and one of the most marketable faces internationally, a multiple Academy Award nominee actor is also famous for his death-defying stunts”

And his latest stunt could now cement him as one of the greatest modern-day daredevils around, giving legendary fearless showman Evel Knievel a run for his money.

The 62-year-old actor is reportedly set to conclude the festivities in 2024.

“he’d hand off the flag for Los Angeles’ turn at hosting, as per TMZ, the stunt will see Cruise coming down from the top of Stade de France and touch base on the stadium field holding Olympic flag”

From there, the broadcast goes into a prerecorded segment in which Cruise will fly an Olympic flag from France to Los Angeles.

For the last portion of his stunt, Cruise will free-fall then parachuted to land near another iconic L.A. landmark:

The Hollywood sign was filmed on a Saturday morning in March. Back then everyone probably thought this was some sort of movie stunt- but turns out, it wasn’t!

Cruise has already been putting in an appearance about town supporting the world class athletes, and rehearsing for his part in closing ceremony.

Paparazzi had photographed Cruise pulling off the skydiving stunt back in March, but it is only now that we know of his ties to the Olympics.

The movie then depicts Cruise handing the Olympic flag to other athletes, including a cyclist and skateboarder as well as volleyball star.

Cruise himself came up with the idea of a daring stunt, but in fact it was he who approached the Olympic committee as they challenged him to carry off acrobatics that connect from Paris 2024 Games and Los Angeles.

Cruise has had an Olympics connection before; in 2004, he was one of the torch bearers going through Los Angeles on its way to Athens for those games.

The stunner is set to feature at the Paris Olympics closing ceremony as Cruise demonstrates his blend of art and daring, symbolically ushering in the 2028 Games with a final baton pass from Paris over to Los Angeles.
