We are now firing up the competitive stoves and calling out all of you to join us for a Mideast Regionals at Cleveland, Ohio worth this year’s Yo-Yo Competition from July 31- August 3rd! The event is famed for its wide array of competitions and workshops across all skill levels, as well as a full slate of yo-yo performances. What I can tell you is a full list of everything that will be on tap any day during this all-day event, keep reading;
Day 1 & First Stage: July 31, 2024
Opening Ceremony
The event opens with a wonderful opening ceremony, featuring top-level yo-yo routines paired with the key figures of The Yo-Yo community giving their speeches. That sets the tone for three days celebrating all of the ways yo-yo players from around our planet have practiced their game and brought, so many tricks to challenge others.
Preliminary Rounds
Next from there is the opening ceremony and we then move into the qualifying rounds. These are really the most important rounds cause this is where we see who goes on to the semi-finals. The players belong to four categories including 1A(Single Hand String Trick),2 A(Two Hands Looping Tricks),3 A( Playing with Two Strings at the same time) and last but not least other two sets of Categories are such as,4 A or Offstring also be referred Counterweight division.
S4 Semifinals & Skills Workshops – Aug. 1, 2024
Semifinals
Semifinals – 2nd Day [The Main Event] As a result, each of them will be greeted by all the other categories at once and in addition to playing their semifinals with everything placed as everyone wants that prize. This is the day you will see the best performances with competitors using their strongest tricks and routines.
Skill Workshops
Also, skill workshops by yo-yo pros will be held… but only for most of the day. The workshops are a unique opportunity to develop new skills, refine existing techniques and pick the brains of some living legends. These can range from stall and regens, to intricate mounts or adhesive notes i. e.. boomerangs and irons – wraps/slacks/whips etc…

August 2, 2024: Freestyle & Trick Ladders
Freestyle Competition
The freestyle spectacle is one of the biggest highlights on the rally calendar. Dancers will perform to music in choreographed routines that kind of illustrate creativity, skill and show-up. It appears to be the most enjoyed event that combines art with some physical skill.
Trick Ladder Competition
There is also a trick ladder competition that allows competitors to try out tricks in the same order and then get ranked accordingly. The competition itself is a clinic in mathematical precision and mind-numbing consistency when gauging who executes the simplest tricks – all day up to holy crap, what did he just do!
8/3/2024 Final Matches + End Ceremony
Grand Finals
Division grand finals all take place on the last day of Yo-Yo Competition. It is our live final – all rounds before have been simply warm-ups for this one where the acts who performed best over the series come into their own in a bid to be crowned champion. Instead the vibe is far more uneasy, prickling with anticipation from fans and possible beneficiaries.
Awards Ceremony
Finally all ends with a grand final headed by an extravagant award ceremony. They will be given trophies, medals and cash prizes that are a tribute to their innate talent as well the hard work put in by them. The pinnacle of the event The Closing Ceremony, an emotional conclusion where we receive closing remarks and entertainment to close out this once in a lifetime experience.
Closing Performance
It is also the same day that an encore performance of all-star yo-yo player momentum collaboration will be… joy in motion a closing celebration of community and top shelf talent, creativity by way example defining what it mean to toss things strings.
